PLASTIC LUMBER
is our main product and with the costs of materials, is now
coming onto its own as an excellent alternative. Synthetic
Lumber has a long life span of over 100 years. If this is
not enough, the product comes with a 60-year warranty. Many
are going this route because of the low or no maintenance
required. Plastic Lumber has many applications; the most common
are fencing and decking. This product came on the market and
is getting more attention for a number of reasons. Initially
as an environmental alternative, Synthetic Lumber is also
very durable and can be used in very extreme conditions adding
to its appeal. The tests are very impressive. They show that
both shrinkage and expansion is approximately 1/8" on
every 12" of length with "A 160 DEGREE F TEMPERATURE
CHANGE". To allow for this movement, The SKLIP™
was developed as "the fastening system" for Plastic
Lumber.
